Watershed Wonders Kits

The Watershed Wonders education kit series is a fun and engaging way for students to learn about our watersheds!

WUQWATR created the series with the Moose Jaw River Watershed Stewards, South Saskatchewan River Watershed Stewards, Swift Current Creek Watershed Stewards, and the Old Wives Watershed Association.

The kits are for students between the ages of six and 13. The content supports the Saskatchewan curriculum for that age group.

For teachers, each kit contains a guide outlining half a dozen activities.

Many exciting items come with the kits including watershed models, animal track stamps, and real beaver pelts and skulls.

Each of the three kits has a unique theme:

  • Beaver Trails and Cattails
  • Getting Our Feet Wet
  • My Watershed and Me.

To borrow the kits, at no cost to your school or community group, contact us today at info@wuqwatr.ca or phone Nicole at (306) 522-3560.

Bookings are on a first come first served basis.
