The Watersheds

About 20 % of Saskatchewan’s population lives within the Wascana & Upper Qu’Appelle Watersheds which covers 23,443 square kilometres.

It consists of two watersheds:

• The Wascana Creek Watershed (Orange) and
• The Upper Qu’Appelle Watershed which itself is comprised of three sub sub watersheds:
  • Lanigan/Manitou (Yellow)
  • Last Mountain Lake (Red) and
  • the Qu’Appelle River (Green).
