Birdseye View: Lands conserved with the ALUS Program

Posted on July 13, 2020July 13, 2020

East of Last Mountain Lake remains undisturbed coulees and wetlands. These areas have provided a lot of valuable ecosystem services for wildlife, aquatic species, and even humans. These are project areas enrolled in the ALUS WUQWATR program. This year, we got to look at these sites from a new perspective and admire their beauty.

WUQWATR supports farmers and ranchers who wish to enhance or restore various ecosystem services across the landscape – from grasslands to wetlands and everything in between. Visit our ALUS page for more details.
